Each year, the El Paso Museum of Archaeology commemorates the emergence of the golden desert flowers on the Northeast side of the Franklin Mountains. This logo symbolizes the wildflowers at their peak bloom across the area, enhancing the Chihuahuan Desert slopes of the city with striking sunset shades of orange and yellow, alongside a vibrant violet hue enveloping the Franklins. Beyond the stunning sight of the wildflowers from the Archaeology Museum, attendees can partake in live performances, family art activities, food trucks, and various other attractions at this annual festival.
